Biography

Zoe McKenzie has been a member of the Australian Federal Parliament since the 2021 election. Member for Flinders Before being elected, Zoe founded and ran a consulting firm specialising in international negotiations. Zoe has lent her expertise in international negotiations and free trade agreements to chambers of commerce such as the Australian British Chamber of Commerce and the Franco-Australian Chamber of Commerce and Industry. Before entering politics, Zoe worked in law firms and was a policy advisor to several Australian ministers. Zoe speaks English, German and French fluently, and has some Spanish. Zoe was awarded the National Order of Merit by the French government in 2018 for services rendered to the Franco-Australian bilateral relationship.
