Biography
Mr. Ainars Latkovskis was born in 1967, and holds a Masters Degree in International Affairs from George Washington University. He worked at the National Customs Board from 1995 until 2002 when he was elected to the Latvian Parliament, the Saeima. He has served as an MP since then, and was Minister for Social Integration from 2004 to 2006. He currently chairs the New Unity parliamentary group in the Saeima, the faction of the Prime Minister. He was Chair of the Defense Committee from 2010 until 2018. He holds an interest in the role of parliament to advance the fight against corruption and the role of Artificial Intelligence in strategic communication.
