Biography
Marcos Perestrello de Vasconcellos is a Member of the Assembly of the Portuguese Republic for the Socialist Party since 2011. He is the Chair of the National Defence Committee and a Member of the Budget and Finance Committee. He also holds the role of Chair of the Subcommittee on Nato Partnerships of the Political Committee of the NATO Parliamentary Assembly. He was the Secretary of State of National Defence from 2009 to 2011 and from 2015 to 2018.
