Biography
Mr. Masahiro Imamura is a member of House of Representatives in Japan. He is the former Minister of Reconstruction and was the minister in charge of Comprehensive Policy Coordination for Revival from the Nuclear Accident at Fukushima. He has served as State Minister for Agriculture, Forestry and Fishery, as Parliamentary Vice-Minister for Foreign Affairs and as Parliamentary Vice-Minister for Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism. Mr. Imamura has been chairperson on a number of government committees, namely the Special Committee on Reconstruction after Great East Japan Earthquake, the Standing Committee on Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism, and the Standing Committee on Audit and Oversight of Administration.
