Mr. Sousa Pinto is a member of the Portuguese Parliament since 2009, where he serves as Chairman for the Committee on Foreign Affairs and Portuguese Communities. Previously, he had already served as a Member of Parliament from 1995-1999. Mr. Sousa Pinto is a former MEP and the current Chair of the Portuguese Parliamentary Representation to the Iberian-American Parliamentary Forum.
