Biography

Ms. Inada Tomomi has been elected six times to the House of Representatives of the National Diet of Japan and is a member of the Liberal Democratic Party (LDP). Since entering politics, she has successively held important positions, including Minister of Defense (2016-2017), Minister in charge of Administrative Reform (2012-2014), and Chairperson of the LDP Policy Research Council (2014-2016). She currently serves as the Acting Secretary-General of the LDP. She has been a registered attorney since 1985. This biography was provided when the member last participated in the GPN meeting.
