Biography
Rumen Gechev is a member of the Bulgarian Parliament. He has already served as Deputy Prime Minister of Bulgaria and as Chairman of the UN Commmission on Sustainable Development. In the Parliament, he sits on the Economic Policy Committee and the Budgetary and Finance Committee. Mr. Gechev is also Professor in Economic policy at UNWE, Sofia where his research interests focus on Economic Policy for Sustainable Development.
