Biography
Marcus Scheuren is a European Union official, and heads the secretariat of Scientific Foresight Unit of the European Parliament's Research Service, which hosts the Panel for the Future of Science and Technology (STOA), the European Science Media Hub (ESMH), and the Centre4AI. Previously he was head of the European Parliament's Special Committee secretariat on Artificial Intelligence in a Digital Age (AIDA). He previously worked in the EP's Economic and Financial Affairs Committee (ECON), the Special Committees on the Luxleaks tax revelations (TAXE) and on the PanamaPapers (PANA), and most recently in the Industry, Research and Energy Committee (ITRE).
