Biography

Eamonn Noonan is a Policy Analyst, Global Trends Unit, European Parliamentary Research Service since 2015. He also serves as liaison with the inter-institutional initiative to strengthen EU foresight capacity, ESPAS (European Strategy and Policy Analysis System). He previously served in the EP Foreign Affairs Secretariat and its Human Rights Unit, and as an Irish diplomat in Oslo and Luxembourg. He was CEO of the Campbell Collaboration from 2008-2015. He was Director of Norway's Liaison Committee for Immigrants from 2006-2008. His publications include articles on evidence based policy, the European interwar period and Medieval Ireland.
