Biography

Isaac Kitur is a Kenyan currently working at the County Assembly of Bomet as the Clerk/CEO of the County Assembly of Bomet. The County Assembly of Bomet is a subnational legislature within the Republic of Kenya. Mr Kitur holds bachelors degrees in Social Legislation (BSL)and Law (LLB). He also holds a post graduate diploma in law and practice from the Kenya School of Law. He is currently undertaking postgraduate studies in bioethics. He is a member of several professional institutions including the Law Society of Kenya, East Africa Law Society, Commonwealth Lawyers Association, Institute of Certified Secretaries, Associate of Chartered Institute of Arbitrators, Institute of Directors(Kenya) Bioethical Society among others. He has special interest in governance, constitutional law, democracy, parliamentary procedures, theory of legislation, bioethics and human rights. He has more than 24 years of professional experience.
