Biography
Nayeli Arlen Fernández Cruz is a Member of the Chamber of Deputies of Mexico since 2021 for the Ecologist Green Party of Mexico (PVEM). Prior to becoming Member of Parliament, she worked as Advisor to the PVEM Parliamentary Group in the Chamber of Deputies and Representative of the Directorate of Public Relations and Coordinator of Communication Media in the PVEM from 2006 to 2008, when she became Representative of the PVEM CEN Organization Secretariat until 2010. Between 2012 and 2014, she served as Executive Director of Natural Resources and Protected Areas of Cuajimalpa in the Federal District. Nayeli Arlen Fernández Cruz then served in the Mexican Secretariat for Home Affairs from 2015 to 2017, and became Federal deputy in the LXIV Legislature at Secretary of the Energy Commission from 2018 to 2021. She has a Degree in Political Science from the Monterrey Institute of Technology and Higher Education (ITESM) and a Master's Degree in Public Administration and Public Policy from ITESM.
