Biographie
Giulio Terzi di Sant’Agata was elected to the Italian Senate on 25 September 2022 (XIX Legislature) with “Fratelli d’Italia”, and then elected as Chairman of the European Union Policies Committee.
He served in the Italian Foreign Service between 1973 and 2013 in different capacities: as Political Director, Ambassador to Israel (2002- 2004), Permanent Representative to the United Nations in New York (2008-2009), Ambassador to the United States (2009-2011).
He was Foreign Minister from November 2011 to March 2013.
