Biography
Lukas SAVICKAS obtained his BA in Politics with International Relations at the University of York in 2011 and his master's degree in European Public Affairs at Maastricht University in 2012. During the years 2016-2020, he served as an Adviser to the Prime Minister and the First Deputy Chancellor of the Government of Lithuania.
Now he is a member of the Parliament of the Republic of Lithuania. He is currently vice-chair of the Committee for Future and a member of the Economics Committee. He co-founded the political party Democratic Union in 2022 and serves as the party's vice-chairman and board member.
His political interests include the green, innovative, and digital economy. Also highly passionate about change management, policy advocacy, and evidence-based policy-making.
