Biography

Paul Cook is the Director of the Economics and Security Committee of the NATO Parliamentary Assembly He also serves as the Assembly’s Assistant Secretary General and Director of the Mediterranean and Middle East Special Group. Dr Cook has a Ph.D. and M.A. from The Johns Hopkins University (SAIS) in European Studies and earned his BA in International Relations from the Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore. He authored a biography of the Italian intellectual, resistance leader and post-war statesman Ugo La Malfa, which was published by Il Mulino. Cook was a Fulbright Scholar in Rome from 1993 – 1994.
