Biography
Matias Ramírez is a Member of the Chamber of Deputies of Chile for the Partido Comunista (PC) since 2022. He represents District No. 2 for the Tarapacá Region. He is Chair of the Permanent Commission for the Future, Sciences, Technology, Knowledge and Innovation and a Member of the Permanent Commission of Aquaculture and Maritime Interests and Ethics and Transparency. He was the Councilor of the Municipality of Iquique in the period 2016-2021. He graduated in Legal Sciences at the Arturo Prat University of Iquique.
