Biography
Elisabeth Grossmann is a Member of the Federal Council of Austria since 2017 for the Social Democratic Party. She is the spokesperson on Matters of Constitution, Justice and Gender Equality of the Social Democratic Party. She is also the Chairperson of the Committee of Gender Equality and Antidiscrimination of the Federal Council. She has represented the Social Democratic Party in the National Council from 2002 to 2009 and from 2013 to 2017. Between 2009 and 2013, she has served as a Minister of Education, Family and Gender Equality in the Styrian State Council. Elisabeth Grossmann studied Law and also works as a teacher at the University of Applied Sciences of Vienna.
