Biography
Prof. Huseynova is the chair of the Parliamentary Committee on Family, Women and Children Affairs. She is the head of the Azerbaijani-Swiss working group on interparliamentary relations, a member of the working groups on relations with the parliaments of Great Britain, China, France, Italy, Korea, Kuwait, Russia, Turkey and Japan. She is a member of the Azerbaijani delegation to the EURONEST Parliamentary Assembly. She stated her career as a teacher at secondary school 1977-1988. She is a gender expert with the OSCE and the Council of Europe. Prof.Huseynova is a member of the Scientific Council of the Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan since 2004. Since 2006, she has been the head of the Department of Diplomacy and Modern Integration at Baku State University. Prof. Huseynova was awarded the Order of Glory and the Order of the French Legion.
