Biography
Ms. Tsutsumi has been a member of the House of Representatives of Japan since 2021 from the Constitutional Democratic Party of Japan. Previously she served three terms as a member of the Fukuoka Prefectural Assembly. After earning a Master’s degree in sociology from Kyushu University, she founded the Asian Women’s Center, which is a non-profit organization. She taught sociology as a professor at Kyushu International University and Kyushu Women’s University.
