Biography
Having a diploma as an agricultural engineer, Ingrid Parmentier specialises in regional planning and plant diversity in Central Africa. In 2012, she became project manager for the redevelopment of roads and public spaces at Bruxelles Mobilité. In 2019, Ingrid joined the Brussels Parliament as a Member of Parliament, where she mainly monitors issues relating to mobility and the environment and defends active mobility (pedestrians, cyclists, etc.) and public transport, as well as a calm, pleasant and safe public space. It also campaigns for better water management in the city and for Brussels to give green and blue spaces, nature and biodiversity the place and protection they deserve.
