Biography
Esther B. Del Brio is Associate Professor of Finance in the University of Salamanca (Spain). She got an MPhil in Finance in the University of Cambridge (UK) and a PhD in Financial Economics in the University of Salamanca in 1999. Her research is mainly focused on stock market efficiency, board behavior and other topics of corporate governance. She currently runs the PhD program in Business Studies in the University of Salamanca (awarded the Excellent label by the Spanish Education Ministry), and has previously run the MPhil in Business Economics (Salamanca), MBA in TV firms in Madrid (Spain). She is associate editor of the Spanish Review of Finance and Accounting (listed in ISI-Thomson). She is also the editor of the Working Paper Series of the PhD Program in the Interuniversity Program of the Universities of Salamanca, Valladolid, Burgos and Leon (Spain).
