Description

In 2035 the new metro line M5 will open i Copenhagen. There is possibilities to connect a line to Malmö in the project. With an Öresund Metro, an extra one million people will have a commuting distance within an hour across the Öresund. Travel time between Malmö and Copenhagen would be halved to around 20 minutes. Faster travel stimulates jobs, education, research, and tourism. A dynamic and growing Øresund region is good for all of Sweden and Denmark. When many commuters and tourists take the subway across the Øresund, railway space is freed up on the Øresund Bridge, which can be used for more freight and long-distance trains to Europe. Freight can be moved from trucks to trains, with benefits to the environment. Welcome to our visitor stand!
