Mayor of Employment and Integration

Jens-Kristian Lütken serves as the Mayor of Employment and Integration and is the Chairperson of the Employment and Integration Committee in the Municipality of Copenhagen. In this role, he oversees the municipality's employment initiatives, social welfare benefits, and integration efforts, with a goal of maintaining high employment rates in the city. He represents the political party Venstre. Recognizing the importance of a robust labor market for Copenhagen and Denmark, Lütken emphasizes collaboration with businesses to meet their workforce needs. His strategy includes e.g. attracting and retaining international labor and integrating individuals currently outside the labor market. Beyond his municipal duties, Lütken is a member of VL23 (since 2023) and Rotary (since 2019). He also serves as the national chairman of The European Movement.
