United Way Colombia will host a side event focused on how technology and innovation can strengthen social impact and contribute to building more prosperous communities. Through three strategic lenses, the session will explore: (1) how technology enhance the capacities of social organizations; (2) the critical role of technology in monitoring, evaluation, research, scaling and evidence-based decision-making; and 3) concrete examples of the use of technology and AI in education (STEAM and others) - initiatives that empower children and youth across vulnerable communities.
We will showcase how collective impact is amplified when education-focused, tech-based solutions are embedded in social projects. This approach fosters more inclusive, data-driven, and scalable interventions, unlocking long-term transformations in education and local development.
The session will bring together cross-sector actors to explore how digital innovation and multi-stakeholder collaboration can drive measurable change, offering replicable models for other regions aiming to achieve equitable and sustainable development.
