Dr. Dell Gines serves as Chief Innovation Officer at the International Economic Development Council (IEDC), the largest professional membership organization for economic developers globally, where he helps economic development professionals adapt to and leverage emerging technologies, market shifts, and societal changes to create local economies that work for everyone regardless of demographic background or geographic location. Drawing on over 21 years of experience in community and economic development, he leads IEDC's professional development, research, and emerging practices functions.
A Certified Economic Developer (CEcD), he holds an MBA, Master of Finance, and Ph.D. from the University of Nebraska School of Public Administration. His achievements include recognition as one of Omaha's Top 10 Outstanding Young Leaders by the Omaha Jaycees, induction into the Kansas City Black Achievers Society, and multiple Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City President's Awards for his contributions to economic development.
