Alexander Otgaar is a senior policy evaluator at the policy and operations evaluation department (IOB) of the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs. He is responsible for conducting and guiding evaluations of various programmes and policies in the field of private sector development and sustainable economic growth. He recently finished an evaluation of the Dutch policy for responsible business conduct, which includes a review of monitoring frameworks for private-sector instruments.
