Georges Beukering is responsible for all capital raising for the underlying fund vehicles. Georges is the initiator of Climate Investor One ("CI1") and a co-founder of CFM. Georges’ background includes leading deal teams on project finance and mezzanine transactions at the Dutch Development Bank, FMO. In this capacity he developed the idea for an end-to-end blended finance renewable energy fund, which later evolved into CI1. His areas of expertise include renewable energy, sustainable forestry, energy efficiency and biodiversity protection. Before joining FMO in 2005, Georges worked at ABN AMRO Financial Markets department and the Dutch Ministry of Finance.
