Emma joined Aon in 2018 to build the Public Sector Partnership practice for Aon UK.
Prior to this she was head of the Terrorism Specialty at Guy Carpenter in London as well as managing the Nordic client portfolio.
Emma over the last 20 years has worked with a variety of clients ranging from large globals to smaller regional and single country insurers also across retrocession as well as reinsurance. She has worked on many of the major public sector partnership vehicles both natural catastrophe and man made risks – specialising in terrorism. She has worked with each major terrorism pool particularly on their launch into reinsurance. Her most recent involvement was the launch of Pool Re’s retrocession.
She spent 15 years at Guy Carpenter after joining them in New York. Prior to this she was a Senior Associate at KPMG in their New York ABAS Insurance practice. She began her career at Reinsurance Australia Corporation as an assistant treaty underwriter.
Emma grew up in Sydney Australia, and has a Bachelor of Econometrics from University New South Wales.
