At CDC (the UK’s Development Finance Institution), Jen leads the Value Creation group, which is an in-house expert team focusing on market building and transaction advisory services in CDC’s priority impact areas: gender equality, climate change, job quality and skills & leadership. Over the past two years, Jen has led CDC in several significant partnerships for gender finance, including the 2X Challenge initiative and the DFI Gender Finance Collaborative.
Prior to joining CDC, Jen was Vice President of Corporate Strategy at Kiron Global, a woman-owned small business focusing on workforce development and skills training in fragile and conflict affected states.
Jen was previously Director of Booz Allen Hamilton’s offices across Africa and Eurasia, based in Tbilisi, Georgia, where she was responsible for building and managing the firm’s International Development and Cooperation portfolio, including projects supporting various local government institutions in Africa and Asia and bilateral ODA programmes. Jen is a licensed attorney in New York, and holds an MA in international economics from the Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies.
