Description

I am an Assistant Professor in Mathematics Education and the research leader at the Faculty of Education, University of the Faroe Islands. My main research interests involve digital technologies in mathematics education, mathematical competencies and design research. I have also engaged in the areas of preservice teacher education, mathematical knowledge for teaching, mathematics teacher competencies, networking of theories and digital representations of mathematical objects. I have authored the Faroese PISA report for mathematics in 2015 and again in 2022.
