Mrs. Shaikha Ali Al Zaabi is an experienced Emirati educator and a current PhD student in Science Education. She holds a master’s degree in educational leadership and has worked in the field of international assessments for nearly 20 years. Shaikha has extensive experience as a National Research Coordinator (NRC), leading the UAE team in major international assessments such as TIMSS, PIRLS, and REDS. Additionally, she serves as the National Project Manager for PISA and IELS. Her career began as a science teacher, later specializing in educational assessments. She currently holds the position of International Assessment Section Manager within the National and International Assessment Division at the UAE Ministry of Education. Shaikha's expertise and leadership in educational assessments contribute significantly to shaping the UAE’s approach to improving education standards through data-driven insights.
