Description

Mojca Štraus is a senior officer at the Ministry of Education, Slovenia. Since 2004 she serves as the PISA Governing Board representative for Slovenia where she is also a member of the PGB Analysis and Dissemination Group. She is a mathematician by training with her main work dedicated to national-level planning of Slovenia' participation in International Large Scale Assessments and analyzing the data collected to support educational policy. She recently coauthored a publication on wellbeing of Slovenian students using PIRLS, TIMSS and PISA data from several European countries and a paper on the Slovenian students' and principals' views on creativity in PISA 2022. Nationally she is a longstanding member of the State Committee for National Knowledge Assessment.
