Description
Miriam Allam is the Head of the Youth Empowerment Unit in the OECD Public Governance Directorate (GOV). She has overseen the work on the OECD Recommendation on Creating Better Opportunities for Young People and provides the strategic directions for GOV’s work with member and non-member countries on youth empowerment and intergenerational justice. She is also heading GOV’s engagement with non-member countries in MENA and coordinates the cooperation with the OECD Training Centre on Public Governance in Caserta. Before joining the OECD in 2010, she worked at the European Institute of Public Administration in Warsaw and was responsible for training activities on public sector reforms. Miriam has lectured at the London School of Economics (LSE) and the Polish National School of Public Administration (KSAP). She holds a PhD from the LSE.
