Hélène Helbig de Balzac is a supply chain due diligence and conflict minerals specialist with vast experience in conflict affected and high-risk areas (CAHRAs). Hélène is a co-founder of Datastake, an information management platform for weak-governance countries which capacitates local stakeholders on risk management, to help circumvent data silos and reduce upstream due diligence costs. She has more than 10 years of experience in international development with a focus on good governance, conflict prevention, and natural resources management in sub-Saharan Africa. She has collaborated with various firms and NGOs to develop innovative strategies for mineral supply chain due diligence.
