Nene Morisho is a senior researcher and coordinator of Pole Institute, an action research institute based in Goma, eastern DR Congo. He holds a PhD in economics. He has over 9 years of experience working in the field of peacebuilding, and works mainly on issues of conflict prevention and management, the linkages between conflict and the economy, institutional and regulatory issues, including those related to the mining sector and the governance of transboundary natural resources.
