The proposed partner session will include a 10 minutes presentation on technology-adoption trends in artisanal mining, detailing the bottlenecks that hinder increased adoption of technology, potential opportunities for technology providers and ASM-tailored affordable financing options. This will then be followed by a 20 minutes moderated panel discussion to dive deeper into access to ASM financing and technology after which the audience shall then be invited to a Q&A session, to widen the discussion and inform key reflections on accelerating access to finance and technology to formalize the ASM sector.
