Through two case examples of insufficient due diligence in the Brazilian iron and steel supply chains (Piqía de Baixo and Brumadhino), this panel will explore potential solutions - from better promoting implementation of the OECD's due diligence guidance to enacting due diligence and accountability legislation - to avoid and redress adverse impacts on communities and strengthen responsible business conduct.
