At ActionAid, a women's rights organization, we work with women and communities in resource-rich countries in the Global South to ensure that they too benefit from their mineral resources and are not disproportionately affected by the consequences of resource extraction. Particularly now, during the energy transition, it is important to ensure negative impacts due to mining are not exacerbated, but rather addressed in an inclusive manner.
