Description
Based out of London, Andrew is an ESG leader with the global resources company, BHP, which supplies many of the commodities required for a decarbonised world. Andrew leads a team at BHP focused on building responsible value chains through the meaningful development of ESG standards, minerals supply chain due diligence, and traceability. Andrew has over 20 years of commercial and sustainability experience having previously held roles in procurement, technology, marketing and sales. He represents industry in the Copper Mark’s Advisory Council, ResponsibleSteel and the International Council for Mining & Metals. He had previously developed BHP’s Responsible Minerals Program aligned to the OECD’s framework and has partnered with civil society on human rights programs. Prior to BHP, Andrew worked with PricewaterhouseCoopers, Accenture and Reuters residing in Australia, Asia and Europe.
