Regulatory frameworks, legislation and market requirements on responsible business conduct due diligence in mineral supply chains continue to evolve. As governments and businesses grapple with the transition to cleaner technologies, emerging requirements are placing greater focus on environmental impacts and efforts to promote a fair and just transition.
This session will consider the diversity of current regulatory requirements on due diligence in the minerals sector. In particular, panellists will discuss some of the challenges of fragmented regulatory approaches and ways to address them, including through accompanying measures.
