This session aims to explore mechanisms and strategies to address illegal economies in Colombian mining territories from a legal and institutional perspective. It proposes a structural solution for formalizing artisanal and small-scale mining (ASM), emphasizing the importance of tailored regulations for different mining typologies, and highlighting the significance of territorial governance.
