Description

Marten Westrup is Trade Coordinator for the European External Action Service (EEAS) - the diplomatic service of the European Union. In this capacity he leads the EEAS's engagement on e.g. supply chain due diligence and responsible sourcing of minerals, in liaison with the European Commission. Before joining the EEAS in 2022, he worked for the European Commission in various roles, including as Team Leader in DG Trade in charge of the EU Conflict Minerals Regulation (until 2019).
