Description
Erica Westenberg is the Director of Governance Programs at the Natural Resource Governance Institute (NRGI), where she leads a global team working on the governance of transition minerals, anti-corruption policy, and advocacy for a just transition. She is a lawyer and provides policy advice on good governance in resource-rich countries worldwide, including serving on numerous international standard-setting bodies, such as the international board of the Extractive Industries Transparency Initiative and the Global Investor Commission on Mining 2030.
Prior to joining NRGI, Erica was an attorney in the energy and infrastructure group at Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP in New York. She holds a J.D. from Harvard Law School, a M.Sc. in Development Management from the London School of Economics, and a B.A. in Government from Harvard College.
