A mining boom driven by the goal of tripling renewables capacity by 2030 could exacerbate governance and corruption risks. This session will explore why mineral sector governance matters for ensuring reliable and responsibly sourced mineral supplies for the energy transition. It will show how governments and companies can use the EITI Standard, OECD Due Diligence Guidance and other tools to identify and tackle risks.
