Description

Isemaël Aubin, a Malagasy national, is a mining engineer with five years' experience in the humanitarian and mining sectors. Isemaël is in charge of supporting players in the mica supply chain in Madagascar in implementing responsible practices on mine sites. Previously, he worked as a civil society actor, promoting good governance, accountability and transparency in the extractive sector. He has also been active in civil society lobbying for improvements to the legal framework and tax regime for the extractive sector, as well as the implementation of the Extractive Industries Transparency Initiative (EITI) standard. He has also worked on humanitarian projects to support, strengthen and empower vulnerable communities, with the aim of reducing poverty in the most disadvantaged regions of Madagascar.
