Local Youth Ambassadors Programme in Jordan

Between 2019-21, the Local Youth Ambassadors Programme in Jordan helped to train more than 800 youth, allowed 110 to kick-start their own business and reached more than 5000 people through social media and community-based awareness campaigns. This video follows the journey of the selected youth and their social action projects in the area of health, digital literacy, environmental sustainability and economic development.

Through the “Youth Policy Shapers” and “Civil Society Supports” Programmes, funded by the United Kingdom’s Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office, the OECD promoted youth and CSO-led local initiatives in support of vulnerable groups in Tunisia.
