Description
Ieva Valeškaitė serves as the Vice-Minister of the Economy and Innovation of the Republic of Lithuania. In this role, she holds responsibilities pertaining to the areas of better regulation, business supervision, taxation environment for business, and economic analysis. Vice Minister has acquired a decade of extensive expertise in economic policy analysis, business regulation, and taxation. She has successfully executed tax-related projects both within the non-governmental sector in Lithuania and abroad. Prior to her current position, Ieva Valeškaitė spent five years as a senior policy expert at the Lithuanian Free Market Institute. During her tenure, she played a pivotal role in initiatives focused on enhancing the business environment, improving legislative quality, promoting tax system transparency, and streamlining tax administration. Moreover, she served at the Department of Foreign and EU Affairs at the Office of the Government between 2012 and 2015.
