Description

Amal Chevreau joined the OECD in 2016. She is a policy analyst in the Unit on Social Economy and Innovation at the Center for Entrepreneurship, SMEs, Regions and Cities. She has developed expertise on social economy and social entrepreneurship over the last 15 years. She also teaches social economy in Paris-Dauphine University. Amal also worked in the OECD regional development division on urban and rural development issues as well as multi-level governance. Prior to joining the OECD, Amal worked 10 years as head of studies and research at IPEMED (Paris), and held for 9 years several senior positions in regional development agencies in Morocco. She holds a BA in public law and political science (University Mohammed V- Morocco) an LLM in comparative law (University of Miami- School of Law-US) and an MA in international relations and international public law (Keele University-United Kingdom). Amal is fluent in French, English and Arabic and has good understanding and speaking capacities in Spanish.
