Description
Dominic joined the Foreign and Commonwealth Office in 2006 after training as a barrister and five years in law enforcement. His first job was in the British Embassy Tehran as an Immigration Liaison Officer (2006 to 2008), before spending two years in London covering multilateral sanctions, migration issues and the South Sudanese independence referendum.
From 2011 to 2015, Dominic was in British Embassy Moscow where he followed issues related to the North Caucasus, cyber-security and rule of law, and later led the team covering Russia’s external policy.
In 2015 Dominic returned to London to lead on the UK’s bilateral relations with 16 countries in Northern and Central Europe and then set up the UK’s first diplomatic mission in N’Djamena (2017 to 2018). In August 2018 he began his role as Deputy Ambassador in Skopje, North Macedonia, and then in October 2021 he came to Serbia as Deputy Ambassador to British Embassy Belgrade.
