Description
Diana Saville is the Co-Founder and CCO of BrainMind, an impact accelerator for brain science. Diana also cofounded and leads a science and technology entrepreneurship program for low-income college students called Entrepreneur of Your Own Life (EYOL), and she is the Director of the Global Leadership Incubator (GLI), a partnership with the Dalai Lama which provides scholarship opportunities for exceptional Tibetan refugees. Diana sits on the advisory boards of Brain Futures, RegenMed Systems, New Frontiers Bio, and Donii.
Formerly the Chief Innovation Officer for the Angiogenesis Foundation, Diana is an expert in creative communication of complex scientific concepts. She organizes international expert summits and conferences on scientific and medical topics, and has developed educational media in collaboration with labs at Harvard, MIT, UC Berkeley, MGH, NYU, and other top research institutions. Her creative work has been featured in the Museum of Modern Art in New York, the Nobel Museum in Stockholm, at TED conferences, and at the World Economic Forum.
Diana studied biochemical sciences at Harvard College and began her creative work as a scientific animator while pursuing a Ph.D. in molecular and cellular biology at the University of California, Berkeley. In her spare time, Diana enjoys building elaborate forts with her two munchkins, cooking, painting, light biohacking, and meditation.
