Description
Michael Webster is the Principal Analyst in the Tourism Evidence and Insights Team within New Zealand’s Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment (MBIE). He is responsible for overseeing New Zealand’s tourism data programme, and led the development of several key initiatives, such as the Monthly Regional Tourism Estimates, and the 2018 Tourism Data Domain Plan. Michael has been working in this role since late 2015. He has had 19 years of experience in the fields of data analysis and economics.
